Pinky poh are you in Australia? Where abouts?

Nope, I'm in Canada! Toronto ftw! Things people will not be surprised to hear about today: It was cold. lol

AAAAUGHHHH I'm so excited to find out who my partner is I misread kish's post and thought we found out TODAY >_< I am a sad panda. Oh well, more time to ponder crafts, and maybe start a wist Smiley

peer pressure!! start a wist!
come on, everyone else has... lol

Weeeeeeeeell.......I suppose I could have a look Tongue

Another newbie question-Why is there an asterisk next to my name on the list?

The asterisk means that kish hasn't yet added the swap onto your profile. When she does, it will appear as "In progress". Read back!

Holy crapola! I couldn't check the boards since yesterday and there is so much going on!

I have a wist but it is way meager. I didn't want to make pages upon pages, but now after seeing everyone's I think that I might have some work to do. Correction: i do have some work to do.

But heads up for my potential partner....I'm easy going and would def. love everything.

My hands are itching to craft....

Kind of.  If you become a Friend of Craftster (basically a paying member, it's $12 for the basic membership) there are additional fields in your profile you can fill out.  You can look at my profile to see what I mean.

I'm not sure if that was the actual info you were looking for, but there you go!

Oh, and also you can save them to a wist obviously.   Grin

Oh, and also, I claim summerluvin_ca for a partner, since she's so easy going.  LOL.  j/k

For the bio that we have to post, is there a basic format or do we just make one up?

I am so excited, I have found myself blabbing on to everyone at work about this swap I get to be in and how cool it is going to be to get stuff from someone in another part of the country or world. They all roll their eyes when I get started.

I don't even want to look at ideas for stuff until I know who my partner is, so I don't get excited about one thing then find out that it wouldn't suit my partner. Oh i will have a lot of homework to do tomorrow for crafting ideas.

YEAH!!!!

I would like to keep the swap open instead of themed...

I agree. I mean, if partners want to theme for each other, cool. I usually pick a theme for my stuff anyway, just for continuity. Like if my partner liked flowers, incorporate them in some way in all my gifts to him/her. It gives me a jumping point, but doesn't necessarily limit me to just flowers.

Man, partner day is just around the corner! Finally! *so says the chick who only had to wait three days...*

The BIO can be something simple and short like what do you like to craft, how long have you been crafting, where do you get your creativity from, how did you find craftster, etc. Please try not to include anything that is considered private (full name, date of birth, anything you do not want posted on the internet for the world to see).
