Nope, no ketchup chips in MN.  Not widely available anyhow.  I'm sure I could find some if I tried.

I just think it's funny how different actual tastes are.  Like the fact that there entire cultures who think that peanut butter is disgusting.  (Seriously?  I could sit with a spoon and eat a whole jar on its own!)

Whereas flavors like rose are common some places.  (I'll cop to liking this one, the Cost Plus World Market by me carries rose turkish delights that are to DIE for!)

I love how food brings everyone together  Tongue

I dont know about ketchup chips but since theres a huge Polish community where Ilive we have a lot of Polish markets and they sell these strawberry flavoured puffs. Theyre like cheesedoodles but strawberry flavoured.
Quite tasty.

Hi gang
I was at the local library looking for ideas and got some books that were pretty cool. I'd say all the projects are really easy and some are really neat looking.
  • Bend the rules sewing : the essential guide to a whole new way to sew / Amy Karol.
DowntownDYI sewing: 14 easy designs for city girls with style / Alice Chadwick & Leanne Finn-Davis.
Fabric leftovers: simple, adaptable ways to use up scraps / D'Arcy-Jean Milne.
Last minute fabric gifts: 30 hand sew, no sew, machine sew projects / Cynthia Tre
en

I'm most impressed with the Fabric leftover and Bend the rules book. They both have great tips but a good attitude for new or novice sewers. Just thought I'd share my findings.

Gosh! You go away for a day an there are three pages of new posts!

Kish:  I meant that ambiguous would swap a legally bought CD with me.  I have friends with the CD, but I refuse to burn them.

ambiguous: thats sounds great!

SewFixated:  A junk food swap sounds awesome!  You'd really have to make it partially creative, or it is no fun.  maybe after this one is done one should get started.

Arg! the wait is killing me!  I'm so excited!

I know but I had to reiterate the swap rules for CD's and music just so everyone knows too. Smiley

Ok, whew! *deep breath* I'm in. Courage is mustered, questionaire is filled out and sent in, and now all I have to do is make sure I don't stress myself out thinking about the PERFECT thing to make my partner if I'm accepted. I've been tempted to join swaps before, but this is the best one for me. Newbies unite!
