I have absolutely fallen in love with the shrinky dinks. I am probably the only person that did not do them as a child.

My DD had a bookfair at her school and I found this awesome book from the Klutz company called Shrink art Jewellery.

This happens to be a project within the book. I've been using the toaster oven to bake them in and I haven't had any issues with them at all (knock on wood)

I wanted to have the butterfly wings with some curve so I took it out of the toaster oven before it fully straightened out.

sorry for the tiny pic as I am currently using a cell phone to take the pic.

I have the same exact book. I was looking at that too, I loved it, but I'm not so fond of butterflies. I made one EXCEPT it is a dragonfly. I already sold it though, before I got the chance to take a pic.  Embarrassed Anyways, They're a lot of fun to make! that's for sure!!!!

Come on.....you know geeks rock your world.....

I had been lurking using my cell phone for months and noticed that you commented about the book a little while back. We literally bought it within days of each other and I was cursing when I bought it because I wanted to tell you all about the book. I was thrilled that you posted about it.

I'm sorry that you can't see it. The pressure is put on the darling hubby for a digi cam. Soon hopefully!
