Oh, I feel your pain! I covered half of an item with fabric. Went to cover second half, and found I had messed up cutting the fabric, and what I had left couldn't work. We clearanced some nice strechy fabric booksox, in the coolest patterns. No problem,I thought, I'll just buy another tomorrow.Nope, sold out. Oh, and the thingy that was being covered? Those were all gone,too-so not just starting from scratch! Apparently everyone else liked that design, too. So I subsituted some amateur painting instead.
So it's completely different from what I envisioned. But it turned out.

Radegund, is that enough of a tease for you? Cheesy

Hmmm, interesting!   Grin  I hope it arrives soon!

I'm pretty happy with what I sent. I got a lot of miscellaneous bits at the dollar store, which is always fun to explore.  As for a tease... well, look at the crafts first, and then read the interdepartmental memo.   Wink

I received last night from attentionspanofnone!  I'm just now posting (boo to neighbors putting a password on their wireless, lol), but I loved everything.  Without further ado...

The whole shebang...

I love this shirt!  I've called many things "field research," lol, and now I can just point to my shirt.

Cute little tote, good for sewing machine accessories

Beautiful, yummy-smelling flower (in the hearts) soaps

Great little dead worm stuffy...love the x'd out eyes!

And then, my very, very favourite things EVER:

What are those, you ask?  Why, they are FACE-EATING TUMOURS!!!  From my fave TLC-trainwreck-illness special.  Anyway, more specifically, they're barettes.  My hair is just a little too short right now, but I am so growing it out.  I estimate I'll be able to use my tumours in about a month Smiley

WOOOHOOO I came home today to find a wonderful package waiting for me and it couldn't have picked a better day to arrive.  I had to suspend one of my students today for hitting a staff member.  Not the best day in my classroom.  My pal, xiphigirlie, is awesome Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked  I got a Periodic Table blankie to snuggle with while watching TV, a cool T-shirt with lab equipment done in my school colors and a set of mugs with chemical equations on them.  I am one happy camper Grin  Thank you so much, xiphigirlie.
