Back many years ago when I was in high school I made this--I just took pictures of it tonight. The butterfly is one that I copied off of a pair of overalls that my mom had. She embroidered the butterfly many years before I was born. I tried to do the same stitches she did. The overalls are in storage otherwise I'd show a picture of it for reference. It was my first try at embroidering. No one showed me how to do it--I just picked up a needle and thread and tried it out.
Let me know what you think please! Grin

Thanks! My mom's butterfly is from the 70s. I guess being crafty is in my blood so I pick up on things quickly. I want to get back into doing embroidery. I want to make this one into a patch.  Smiley

Thank you everyone! I have to get a hoop tomorrow since I don't remember where I put mine...probably in storage with my sewing machine Cry.
