I made my first wallet

My old wallet was very worn out (oh how I loved the pattern)

So I looked around at some shops but did not find anything I really liked.
So I decided to make my own with the measurement of the old wallet.
I was very surprised how easy it was and that it only took a few hours once I figured it all out.
I machine embroidered some left over jeans fabric and lined it with bandana fabric *heart*

There is a coin pocket outside

 and a note pocket inside

Also a vinyl see-through slot and 5 card slots.
(action shot)

Everything is framed with bias tape and I added  small grommet for my keychain

Make your own!

I am collecting any kind of skull shaped beads and patches-feel free to send me spare ones  ;-)

Awesome job!  It would make my brain hurt to try something like that. Your seams look great, all the details , wow you could sell these.

Yours is even nicer than the original.  My DD14 is really into stars.  That is a great birthday idea - embroider stars on denim, then turn into awesome wallet.  The key ring idea is great, too, as she loses her keys all the time.

wow, love everything about this. it's so detailed with little things (like coin pocket with zipper) that make it even better

Excellent workmanship! I have trouble finding something I like too. I may have to follow your example.
