I'm visiting Salem in August for a long weekend, any must stop craft or local shops Huh (beads, yarn, scrapbooking)
Of course any site seeing advice would be great too!

Hi there! I live in Salem, and I'd be happy to share my favorite spots. As far as crafting goes, visit Seed Stitch Fine Yarn (http://www.seedstitchfineyarn.com/) and Beadworks (http://www.beadworksboston.com/salem/) both on Front St. There's the usual tourist/witch stuff, which is fun if you're into that. Lots of fun unique shops all over downtown that cater to tourists, too. The Peabody Essex Museum (http://pem.org/homepage/index.php) is a really nice art/history museum, I highly recommend it. Another cool place to check out is the Salem Willows (http://www.salemwillowspark.com/), which is a picnicking park on the water with an arcade, mini golf, and a bunch of carnival type food places. For good eats, try Red's (http://redssandwichshop.com/) for breakfast all day and Beer Works (http://www.beerworks.net/) for an awesome microbrew and lunch or dinner.
Do I sound like a visitor's guide or what?
