I used McCall 5314 pattern and fall shirting fabric (4 and half yard because of the skirt part).
It is a full circle skirt and half circle warp part (it is 540 degree!!!), hemming/ironing hem is the hardest part. Except that, it is quite easy to makeno zipper, no buttonhole.

Overall I am quite happy with the outcomecomfortable, stylish (ar least to me), and cheap.. 
How do you think?

I love this - simple, elegant, and classy. It's also really versatile. I can see this as being part of a steampunk outfit with the right accessories, and then with a change of accessories, going straight to a business casual type affair. It's perfect!

I would totally make that and wear it everywhere, it looks so comfy and versatile!  Great job on it, too  Grin

Next year I'll have room for a sewing machine in my SINGLE ROOM, but this year I share, so I don't.  So all I can do now is wish and plan.  And maybe use my connections to the theatre costume workshop... Cheesy

Very cute! I'll look up the pattern... but I'm not sure if I'd do the full skirt. I like slimmer-cut wrap dresses.
