WOW, i really love this clutch. I LOVE the fabric, really love it (Where did you get it?) and I LOVE the style and design of the clutch and the straighter bottom. Thank you so much for posting the tute, so nice of you. I can't wait to make one.

I have one question, when you sew the lining is the outside of your bag already sewn? because when you showed putting the lining in it looks like a single, separate piece and I thought it was already sewn. maybe i am slow. Smiley sorry. Then also when you sew around the lining, does the part where you sew it, it doesn't seem to show up, so is it just attached to the inside like did you fold out the inside of the top?Huh? maybe it is just because it is so late. I am so excited to make this bag!!! thanks again for the tute.

Great!!! just a few days ago I tried modifying  a pleated tote bag tutorial, to make a clutch like this.. i have to say, i failed 3 times, first the bottom was to big for the top band. I tried and tried, until i finally got it kind of right, but when top stitching at the end I didn't left enough space between the fabric and the snap closure to top stitch with the machine. So I'm definitely going to try your tute. Thank You!!!!

umm I'm really not sure what you're asking. I'm a bit confused. If you follow all the steps in order you will end up with an outside piece that looks complete (except its missing an inside) and an inside piece that is exactly the same size and everything as the outside piece, except for the fabric and pleating. then when you put one inside the other all you have to do is sew all the way around the top which attaches the inside to the outside. idk if this answers anything. Let me know and I'll try again later  Wink
