Hullo

I have a cool plan to make a skirt with the lyrics to Regina Skeptors song Samson on it. In the video there are cute paper cranes, i thought these would be a cute applique for the skirt too...
here's what i came up with...

I still have to figure out how to put the lyrics on, neatly as the skirt is a light creamy colour..any suggestions?

Wow, those would look lovely on a skirt! As for the lyrics, maybe stenciling them on with freezer paper and paint?

printable fabric. you could just repeat the lyrics over and over in word or the like and then print it on the fabric and then fold the fabric, and applique

You could use an iron-on transfer paper.
This kind of paper is avaible at Walmart, Hobbie Lobbie, almost anywhere.
And it's cheap and it works.
Hope that helps!

What a great idea! I love that song too. If your sewing machine does embroidery, maybe you could try embroidering the lyrics in? Handwritten cursive lettering would be beautiful.
