I love huge rings. Especially if they're a little ridiculous in size, but somehow still elegant and beautiful. That's what I was hoping to do with this one:

far-ish (pardon my chipped nail polish!):

closer:

It's a silver-tone filigree circle, an awesome vintage crystal button base and tiny Swarovski crystal bicone center, wired to a silver-tone adjustable base.

What do you think? Is it *too* big?

"Too big" is a state of mind.  I LOVE a giant cocktail ring myself and think that one is great - all you need is the confidence to wear it and the perfect cocktail to go with it.

Exactly, never too big. If any tells you otherwise its their personality that may not be big enough for the ring.  Wink What a great ring!

ahaha, thanks everyone!  Cheesy
You guys are so right -- as long as you've got personality, and plenty of confidence, you can pull off pretty much anything!

Now all I need is the right party... Wink

ooh, nice one!  Anyone have a good cocktail recommendation?

Something in a stemmed glass for sure with a tasteful, but interesting cocktail pick (no umbrella!) and maybe a sugared rim.  Maybe a lemon drop with real muddled lemon or something slightly pink.  I love to try the house cocktails or ask the bartender if s/he has a favorite gin cocktail to mix.
