I made this a few years ago, using an old navy sweatshirt and a wool plaid blazer both bought from goodwill.
I decided to do it after finding a jacket in a boutique downtown that is well out of my price range. I thought the design of the jacket was cute, but it wasn't very well made for the price and I wasn't wild about the colors, plus, I wanted a challenge for myself, since all my reconstruction projects up to that point had been tshirt resizings.
The Remake

P.S. That white mark on my chest is on the mirror, not my clothes.
Incase you were wondering, the original jacket is from the Gentle Fawn fall '06 collection.
The Original

Edit: This is a fully operational jacket, the buttons come undone and open up, it does indeed have a hood, and a particularly magnificent one, too, all deep and loose like hoods should be.

I actually prefer yours to the original, does yours have a hood? Yours just looks more comfy!

Does it completely open up like a jacket or are the button decorative?

I really love the cut, you did a great job.

That's awesome! I like it WAY more than the original.

Omg! I am now obsessed with their clothes! And your sweater is really cute!
