I am so happy you like everything Diesels_mom.
I didn't line the bag but if you wish to, I have enough fabric leftover from the strap i can send your way.

I love it the way it is its perfect.

Yikes, I'm so sorry - I just found my camera dock to load the pictures up - Sapphire Moon did such a great job!  Especially for her first time making a bag with a zipper! Smiley

Sorry again - I'm  having issues loading up pictures:

The bag:

A zipper purse:

A beautiful cell phone charm:

A bunch of goodies!

And of course action shots of my Little One enjoying her loot! Smiley

She loves her purse - it's filled with my little ponies right now - the wands and crowns have been decorated - and the lolly pops were devoured almost immediately upon spotting.  Smiley (please ignore the clean laundry piles behind her...at least they're clean!) lol!

Thank you so much Sapphire Moon for the great package!

Thank you so much La Chrystelle for organizing this!

Avi I am so glade you like your bag. This was my first try at embroidering with yarn and then felting it. I really am pleased how it turned out. You will have to let me know how the pomegranate dark chocolates were First time buying those as well. Wink

My swap package from alteredmommy is unequivocally the best swap package in the history of swapping.  When I opened it and saw how much work she'd done for me, I cried and cried.

Anyhow, see for yourselves:

The whole package:  A gorgeous book purse (I can't believe it's the first one she's ever made!), a decorated Altoids tin, a mirror made out of a vintage powder box, an embellished coin purse, a swell business card holder, vintage stockings, sparkly lip gloss (one of my favorite brands, even!), a precious ponytail holder made by another Craftster, a tiny box with an Elvis paper doll and Pop Rocks!  Wow!!

Here are some details:

The interior of the purse-- look how perfectly it matches the book she used!  And those sweet charms on the handles!

The coin purse and card holder.  It has dictionary definitions for book and preservation-- the biggest parts of my career that I love so very much.  I'll love showing that off at conferences and meetings.

A close up of the interior of the mirror.  The cover is embellished with a slide that says "look" underneath it.

And the Altoids tin that will be refilled forever and ever!  The quote is from the best moment of Jailhouse Rock.

I don't know how I got so lucky for my first swap partner, but these are all treasures, and I can't begin to say how much I love this package.  alteredmommy is the greatest.

Cool!  I made the Best of 2009 twice!   Check 'em out!
