So this is my first post of something I've made.... my sewing is not the best- I've taught myself just in the past few months, so I'm still learning a lot. But last night I became weirdly obsessed with making this little panda bear. I think he turned out pretty well. Or she. I haven't named it yet.

There isn't a good size comparison, but it's about the size of a smaller paperback. Just the right size to snuggle, I think  Smiley

I thought while I was posting, I'd go ahead and add a couple other things I'd already made- a nice mushroom and a slightly wonky coloured rabbit who answers to Alexander.

Comments and opinions appreciated!

I think they are very cute. Very two dimensional like Aranzi Aronzo dolls. I like them. Did you make them out of felt? I make my two dimensional stuffy things out of old tee-shirts. Makes 'em extra snuggly, but it is a little more difficult to work with.

yep, they're all made from the felt in the walmart craft section. T-shirts would be pretty snuggly- my only problem is I don't wear them much to have any old ones... and even the goodwills here are kind of pricey for their clothes.... I can't wait for the weather to stay warm, and then I will be attacking the yard sales for random materials.

Thanks everyone for all the nice comments Smiley

Want to learn to crochet or knit?  I have a ton of extra crochet hooks & circular knitting needles.  Will throw in some pattern books and yarn for anyone interested in a swap.

haha, thanks missmoppet. I was actually looking at him on the couch the other night, and was like, why didn't I make his tummy like a pouch to hold things??

I see more of these little guys in the future....
