Last weekend i went to a bolt sale at an Amish fabric store and found this coffee themed fabric that i wanted to put in my kitchen/dining room.  of course they only had two different ones so this also required a trip to Joann's for 2 more coffee fabrics and some fat quarters but this is the end project-
table runner for top of my buffet--this is my first time working with quilt squares and binding (i just got my first cutting board and rotary cutter recently) so please be kind

the back

and of course since i had more material left i decided the chairs were in need of something new too--

the whole shebang together

So let me know what you think-- I think new dining room curtains are in the future--lol--still have more material left--hehe

Very very cute. I know people who'd do damage for that fabric, and what you've done with it is fabulous.

Cute! I love how the chairs coordinate, but don't match. It's a nice touch - it all works together, but it's not matchy-matchy.

Thanks soo much.  I was thinking about that material for the windows somehow--i do need to go get more of it though--i only bought four yards and as you can see i have a lot of windows and the ones in the pics aren't the only ones--besides those 6, there are 3 more in my kitchen.  Do you guys think that i should do something similar but different on the dining room and kitchen windows--they are divided by a long counter/bar.   Or should they all be the same?  Or maybe all the same material but different kinds of curtains?Huh?  Oh my mind just races sometimes and then i get nothing done cuz I am not sure which to do?Huh??   ps--the polka dots are actually coffee beans so the pic was soo poor.

The table runner is really cute, I love the colors. It's very retro without smacking you in the face with itself.
