I have a question about amigurumis.
OK you have a round ball right.. but how would you go about making the front 1 color and the back another without adding onto the crocheted piece.  Huh
Here's what I mean.

Can you do it sideways?  That way you'd start with red and switch to black halfway...

I've never made a ball, but it seems like changing colours mid-way through every row would make a diagonal or jagged edge along each side.

not really red and black.... it was just an example but i think i kinda figured out my own question...
I'm going to try and make my own ami pattern.. it the little cat-looking doll from nightmare before christmas... what i'm going to do is get a piece of white cloth and embroider a face. I think it's called a trick-or-treat doll but i'm not sure.. that's what their called in the video game.
