I have been collecting state magnets for my boys and needing a place other than the fridge to display them. I've been dying to enter a challenge since I joined Craftster and I'm just now doing it! It's not exactly what I had imagined but it will be just great for the boys room.

Here are the supplies - except I did not use the super glue or the letters, I did use twine though.

4 - jelly roll pans ($1 each)
2 - small green baskets (2 for $1)
1 - bag army men ($.99)
1 - foam road sign stickers ($.99)
Total - $7

I also used hot glue & glue gun I already had.

In full, hanging slightly crooked  - not yet in my boys' room.

Top half - with the state magnets

bottom half  - with magnets and baskets to hold extra magnets

Hoping I'm not too late as I finished at the last minute! I know it doesn't hold a candle to the other entries but I am just happy to have completed a challenge!

Comments welcome.

I didn't enter the challenge, but I did something similar last year for my boys to play with.  I used a muffin tin, a baking sheet and a pizza pan.  The love the arrange the magents on them.

I like this one!  We've got magnets taking over our house too.
