I'd buy this, it's more unusual than a hoodie but still very simple

It's a solid "go" I think!  It's got clean lines, is way more flattering than a regular sweatshirt, and you could wear a coat over it (and drive in it!) without fretting about hoodie lumpiness at the neck.  I like the bib and agree with cyanidejoy that bolder color offsets would be worth trying.  Besides, the hoodie has gone beyond popular and is now ubiquitous so it's backlash time.

I definitely like this - I have super long hair and hoodies don't work with that!

I absolutely love your sweatshirt!  I am jealous of your clothes making skills - I am terrified to even try to sew clothes - I tried once and it was a complete failure. So much for making pj pants for me!

love this!  I think hoods on hoodies just end up getting in the way sometimes.  Especially with layers.

I love it.  I wouldn't have the bow on their, but that is just personal taste.  The quality of your work is outstanding.

you should just go for it! I had a long stint of making really terrible skirts and tops that just looked like id draped fabric around me, but you get the hang of it!
I try to keep away from shop bought patterns though, way too time consuming and tricky.

i REALLY like this; it looks like something from target, and i would definitely buy it.  like right now.  it's feminine and subtle, all at once.  as for hoodies, i often see sweatshirts without the hood where i live, so i think they are 'in' right now.
