I just finished this scarf earlier tonight.  It's the Irish Hiking Scarf Pattern from Hello Yarn (http://www.helloyarn.com/irishhikingscarfpf.htm) with Red Heart Supersaver yarn, size 10 needles (instead of 8s) and about 10 inches longer than the pattern calls for...made it for my boyfriend but am considering keeping it for myself Wink

Looks lovely--perhaps it's time for matching scarves?  And if "third time's the charm",  you can send me a copy to: GoTo, PO Box...

Lovely scarf!  It looks soft, I would have never guessed it's red heart yarn.

Thanks for all the comments!! And yep...it's Redheart Wink I was worried about writing that down because I know people who won't touch acrylic yarn with a 50 ft pole...right now, I'm mainly using acrylic...not by principle...just because of $$ issues and the one time I tried knitting with a wool blend it made me all itchy...but maybe I'll make mine out of nicer yarn (my boyfriend won't know the difference anyway Wink )

This is on my list to do!! Beautiful. I have to push it to the front.  My husband is not a sweater man and is irish! He wants me to make an afghan!! I think I will try to appease him with the scarf!!
