Finding myself

I bought this fabric when it was on sale at JoAnns- It's my favorite fabric right now. I love the colors and the design reminds me of Japanese fabrics. I also had some brass metal clasps and hoops that I've been saving for a bag and I thought they worked well with the design.

I didn't use a pattern- I just winged it. I might go back and add some support and give the sides some dimension (its flat right now). Overall its a nice bag if I only have a few things to carry.

Enjoy!

Great job! I have the same fabric, and I love it. It's actually made in Japan.

I like the fabrics you used with it. VERY NICE!

Awesome fabric!  And your bag really does it justice!  I love the brown w/ the print combo, and the brass fittings are nice.

Oh wow. I wish I had a fabric as beautiful as that. Of course, my curse is I only shop at the $1 per yard rack at wal-mart.  Grin

If someone's interested, I may be able to get more of that fabric. I'm not sure, but I could try. PM me if you're interested!
