I made this headband for a friend's baby. Very simple construction, and a great baby gift -

take *new* pantyhose, and cut one leg to the length desired minus about 1 inch. Fold the edges in toward the middle, sew the seam together, and embellish however you'd like. Then you've got a cute headband that won't dig in and look like it's squeezing the poor kid's brains! Wink

This particular headband, I used Ruth Perry's hanging cluny method and some chains for the vines/leaves, then added silk ribbon buds and gold Delica seed beads.

Ohmigawd!  Tatting is totally insane!  Thus I am totally impressed.  The poinsettia is beautiful and I love the leaves you designed.
