I was looking at a booklet for the Toyota Prius and the model was wearing this really pretty knit top.  The problem is, you can only see a small part of it.

Does this resemble a pattern you know?  Do you think we could create a pattern based on this small part?  I love it already even though I don't know what the rest of it looks like.  This is my vision of what the whole top would look like:

It looks like there could be a scalloped edge on the top of the sleeves (and they did some waist shaping too, I think). I agree-it is very pretty. And it sounds like you have enough knowledge of knitting to improvise a pattern. Since the neckline is not really visible you could do whatever you want with it. If you find a pattern can you post the info to find it? I am going to keep my eye out for it too.  Wink

Yeah, I noticed the waist shaping.  I couldn't even guess if the cap sleeves have a scalloped edge.  I'm pretty sure it's knit in two pieces, although I don't see why.  I could probably improvise the bottom half, but I'd need a lot of help with the top.  The only two tops I've ever attempted are currently UFOs.  Maybe we could have a mass brainstorm, and when I'm ready, I'll cast on and see what happens. Smiley
