first off.. love all of the new bangles!
now for my question...when i try to use sprinkles i put a bottom layer and let it harden and then i add sprinkles to a resin that has set for a while but then it all turns pink when i mix it in and it all sinks to the bottom. do you put the sprinkles in and then pour resin on top? I think i'm missing something here. anyones help would be appreciated
I'll PM you, I'm slightly confused, or need a little more info!

I completely lost track of who wanted to swap, I'll get back to you!!!

As far as I can see there are only 2 molds in the world, unless you make your own, and the "large" is 2 and 5/8". My handmade mold is like an inch bigger, the one the paper towel is in, but I think the bangle is about the same size on the outside, it's just not so thick. I'd say get some mold building stuff and make a mold!

Thanks for the mold info. I'll have to check out the main resin thread again... Smiley

Ooh the candy ones catch my eye!

I love these, I think resin is a great medium, but I'm a bit scared of it to be honest  Embarrassed Cheesy

props to you and your fab work!

I love them all, but that last is my fave of this bunch. Excellent job! Smiley

Do you know the inner circumference of your mold by any chance? Or can you easily link where you bought it? The only bangle mold I've got, I used once, and it's WAY too small for adult hands. I have small hands and wrists and I still can't get it on. At least, not without risking wearing it for life... Undecided

I'm not answering for ammasmama - but I got mine from the ebay store RESINOBSESSION.  I'm also not advertising for the store, but they do have a large selection of molds and the lady does instructional videos.

The inside diameter is 7 1/4, according to her dimensions.

Hope this helps you!

Augghhh....you make me soooo jealous! Shocked  I have tried the bangle - and I definitely was banging my head - against the work bench!

I probably didn't use the correct amount of drops - since the bangle is quite abit deeper than any of the pendants.  Then it also took like 3 days before it would come out.  Wa, wa, wa, wa....I am so jealous of your talent.

How do you make resin fear you so?  that it behaves so well?  That is not in the resin thread  Grin

Great to have you back.  I'm so glad your not at my craft fairs - I would have to change my craft or go get a 'real' job  Grin
