I needed a bigger bag, to carry my essentials plus my current project plus my lunch... plus my books on the days I give a lesson.  So I went for tote style.  I didn't put any pockets anywhere, since I wanted to put everything in smaller bags (ban the books) already so that they are separate and taken out easily.  I also didn't want to bother with a zipper.  With such a model, it works better for me if it's open.  Easy access without showing the contents to the world.
So this is what I got:

It's very roomy, comfy to carry, pretty, good for winter and summer... I love it  Grin

The fabric is sturdy upholstery linen decorated with velvet flowers.  The lining is cotton.

I love the orange contrasted with the black and white!  And I also prefer a bag that is large and roomy and works like I really do...I just throw everything in my bag and dig for what I need...all the pockets are a waste for me...

Beautiful job!  The shape and details are wonderful!

Thank you!  I don't carry flashy bags, but the lining is another thing... and I like lighter/bright colours better for the inside.  It makes it easier to see what's inside!

Love the fabrics!  I never thought about having a lighter interior to see things!?!  I always avoided the lighter colors 'cause I didn't like how fast they got dirty.  Hmmm...  Have to rethink things.

I tend to agree--it is hard to find things in the "black hole"... Cheesy

I think I will also need to rethink the lining, especially with washable bags! Cheesy

Very nice design! I like the "shake and listen" method of finding things in my bag, but have lately discovered I like a small pocket for my cell phone and a clip-on key fob.
