Great skirt.  I love IKEA fabric but so far have only used it on quilt backs.  I might be a bit braver now.

Oh that's so cute! I haven't been to IKEA since summer so they must have gotten some new fabrics in! The style of the skirt is very cute and simple too, and the shiny bow is a nice touch.

Tomorrow I was supposed to go on a business trip to a city that has IKEA, but today my boss told me he's cancelling the trip.  Cry I was looking forward to stocking up on fabric since I've used it all since my last trip! Oh well I'll just admire your skirt!

soo pretty!  i really like the bow on the waist.  ikea is fantastic for fabrics, i've used stuff from there for my last 3 projects.  around where i live in  the UK its really hard to find fabric that isn't prohibitively expensive, especially for a novice like me, so ikea is pretty handy Smiley

love it! I've always been addicted to IKEA, but I've never figured out where to get their fabric. I'll have to have more o a search next time I'm there!

I'm addicted!

I love the skirt!!

From time to time, I go for Ikea and shop a few metres of the cheapest fabric to practise... I think is "bomull", a 100% cotton fabric.

When I last went to Ikea I saw that pretty fabric, the same of your skirt!! I almost bought it to make a dress for my daughter, but I wasn't brave enough and I'm happy about that as last weekend I went to a friend's house and she had the same fabric on her curtains!!!  Embarrassed

Ooh I couldn't believe it when I saw this cos I just posted an Ikea skirt too haha (called Sunny Day Skirt)!  I love their bright fabrics.  Your skirt looks really great and definitely stands out in the crowd!
