So, I finally tried my hand at embroidering after I have been gazing longingly at all of your stuff. Of course, I am now in love with it. So I thought I'd put my first few things up here for all to see. It's nothing fancy, but I was super proud of myself.

This is the first first thing I made. It is the case that came with my camera. I don't really like the sides where I sewed it back up in black, but I'll live with it.

This is a shirt that I had that was kinda meh, so I added to it a bit.

Front, regular ol' shirt:

Bam! Side of the shirt:

Since the pictures aren't really great, here is a shot of what it looks like. This is actually on a bag I did for a swap, but it's almost the same. A slightly different color on the tree though.

So there it is. Comments, criticisms, and tips always welcome.

My Wist!

Love 'em! I'm going through a bird phase, so those are adourable. I'm wanting to get into embroidery, but we'll see if my firsts come out that good!

I love the bird cage. . . free bird! Great job on your first time. I love embroidering if only there were unlimited hours in the day I would sit and do it all the time. Can't wait to see what you do next.

This is great!  You've completely inspired me.  I sort of stole (and changed) your design and put it on my bookbag.

Hope you don't mind.  Smiley
