inspired by bleachrainbow's narwhalz shirt and my boyfriend's new found love of sea monkeys i decided to make him a sweet seamonkeys shirt! there is a lot of sea monkeys merchandise out there, but this takes a more personal angle i think!

its machine embroidered (im not entirely sure it belongs on this board therefore but...)

and here are the little darlings!
this one is on the pocket

this is the back of the shirt below the collar (probably has a technical name)
i did his name (mat) too for a personal touch! it isnt so crumpled in real life, plus i had just tried to wipe the chalk off so it looks a bit damp/weird

here is a detail of the seamonkey on the back

and the shirt overall - this photo doesnt give it justice. its on the wrong size model so it looks weird

this is the picture i worked from

they are so weird! and yet cute.... Undecided
what do you guys think?

That's awesome Smiley The guys at my fish club would freak out over that cool shirt!

Mysis Shrimp (sea monkeys) make good food for your other aquarium friends, too.

CUTE! Sea Monkeys are so cute, but the Triops ("Ancient Sea Creatures!!") are even more active, eating like crazy, upside down at the surface. Unfortunately, they're also enthusiastic cannibals, a sort of salt-water Highlander - in the end, there can only be one.  You've inspired me, though - I might have to do some triops/sea monkey embroidery, too.
Thanks for sharing and inspiring!
