I just watched this and that bird is incredible. The chainsaw sound is phenomenal, and sad too! I saw some lyrebirds in the forest recently, scratching around with their strong legs. There were two of them a male and a female, with no regard for humans, they just didn't care!  They weren't scared of our presence in the slightest. I've often wondered if they can make those noises straight away after hearing them, or whether they have to go off into a quiet corner of the forest and practise for a bit. It's pretty remarkable if they can make those sounds straight off the bat, without practising. I asked the forest rangers about this and they thought my question was ridiculous! Oh well.  Smiley

That's not ridiculous at all!  If I remember I'll ask someone in the bird department tomorrow.

While we're on the topic of awesome bird videos, you have to see one my favs, the manakin moonwalk.  Tongue

Yay i recieved from Sera unravled today!!

Thankyou Sera you really spoilt me! I love everything  Cheesy

Unfortunately the pics iv taken arnt great, its really dark thanks to the weather and my hubby (who is at work) usually takes the photos for me, so i will ask him to take better ones when he gets home.

Anyway, here are the photos i did take Smiley

A clock with really cute little birds on it.

This pic shows the crackle effect better.

A Mirror with bird silhouettes at the corners.

The photo really doesnt do this justice at all. It is a bead embroidered bird and star in a decorated frame. The little bird is really cute!

This is Steve (Sera's fiance named him)

3 Handmade Magnets (Now residing on my fridge door Cheesy )

A keyring and bracelet. You cant see very well but the bracelet has 3 bird charms, 1 'peace' charm and 1 'believe' charm. Im wearing it now, it fits perfectly!

The red kite is one of my favourite birds. The keyring and Magnet is of Sera's home state.

As well as this she also sent me 3 taffy sticks, the Wild Blue rasberry has gone already!  Grin
A Sculpey pet kit which i cant wait to try out!
And a Local Newspaper.

Thanks Sera Cheesy
