I'm so glad you liked them! I had a lot of fun making them, and it was probably one of the fastest knits ever. (Total time maybe six, seven hours. I'm sort of slow.)

I made the pattern up, including the cable. I'd never knit a thumb gusset before, so obviously the best course of action was to design one on the fly and not take notes. Tongue

Everything is great so far.  Lot's of talent here.  I am still without a computer at home, so I can't post pics.  I need to see if my partner can.

I can't wait for everyone to see my beautiful new Fairy Woman pendant.  It is a rectangle piece of leather (?) with the coolest image of a fairy's face on it.  I have been wearing it non stop since I opened it yesterday.   Cheesy  She also sent an adorable little hand made puppy stuffy for my daughter.  She loves it.  Thank you peihan for an awesome swap package.

Spolied indeed!  Shocked I've wanted to make one, but I just don't have enough colours of fabric to make one myself Sad

Soooo jealous (even though I know I'm recieving something awesome-tastic that I've hoped someone would make me for a long time <33 really psyched about that!  Grin )

My swap partner, 1boy1girl1kitty2, really spoiled me by making me a rainbow twirly skirt!!!! Can you believe it?? How cool is that? She even put chicken squares in it, which is my fav.  Cheesy. I only hope she loves her gift as much as I loved mine!

it is more than 8 feet across!

One of the chicken blocks...this made me very happy!

My 3 yr old had to try it on, since it was on her bed...Smiley

Sorry for the pic quality, the outside is really muddy, I will update with action shots after the weekend.

I was really spoiled, thank you!

But honestly, everything I've seen so far is magnificent  Shocked

I've just got a bit of _______ing to do, and then the _______ will be in the mail.

I'm shipping halfway around the world - and I got quite a scare when I looked up the postal rates, until I realized I was reading the Global Express rates.  That'll teach me to answer "yes" to the question of whether I'll ship to another country.   Tongue

Global Express is frightening.... truly frightening.
A friend of mine needed to mail her husbands meds to him in England - it was going to cost her $50!! She got lucky that she called his office here in town and they just happened to be mailing out a package to him later that day .... $50 saved.
Her next package needs to get shipped to Iraq.  That I am sure is going to be a taaaaaad bit more than  $50 for the Express....

Babyskilz, I'm glad you liked everything!  I had a lot of fun making the puppy... she's so smushy soft Smiley  And the necklace was a fimo pendant that I painted with some pretty metallic paints I had.  Here's pics:

Because she likes pink and blue (and brown, but I didn't have any brown fleece left), a puppy for her daughter with removable ribbon:

Because she likes fairies (sorry for the blurry pic):
