Here's what I received from syrlig, psychedelic wristwarmers!

It should be cold tomorrow, can't wait to wear them. Thank you so much syrlig.

Beautiful!  Miss. Cellaneous, how did you do that?

Glad that everyone seems to like the horse wall art. I would love to say that it was terribly complex and I could only do it because I am so uber-talented, but that would be a giant fib.

The canvases are 16x20 and I already had them from a previous project. I covered the canvases with Amy Butler fabric just using a staple gun to attach to the back. I used an online template for the horse which I found at this wonderful website: http://www.pinkofperfection.com/2006/02/drawn_and_quartered.php.
The metal of the horse is roof flashing* that I got at Lowe's. It is really easy to work with and can be cut with a pair of desk scissors. I just traced the template on the metal using a sharpie. I attached each metal piece to the fabric using heavy duty craft glue. The trim is just some cording I found at Walmart attached with hot glue.

BEBG, I am so glad you like it. I loved making it. It looks great on your wall!!!

*If you are ever using roof flashing, be careful. It is often sold as a long roll for about $5. When you release the roll, it can spring open very quickly. The edges and corners are sharp! Having said that, it is a great medium to work with. Cuts easily, resists fingerprints, lightweight, etc. Have fun with it!
