a moment of silence, please, for those who never had the chance, they show up to a partybut they're never asked to dance, the losers, the liars, the bastards, the theives, the cynicists, the pessimists, and those who don't believe in nothing...

LMAO  Cheesy

You know, I just picked up on that. She does kind of look like her...the hair and the lips, I guess.

When I was making her, I wanted her to look like Gina Torres, since I've always thought that she has a very exotic look. She was in Hercules (the Raimi series on tv), Angel (she played Jasmine, an arch-villain), and most recently, I saw her in the last two Matrix movies. Here's her pic (sorry the link's so long):

I think it worked out okay.

As for the next doll...sigh. I'm dreaming of making something, but my sewing machine's all packed up for an upcoming move and I'm up to my eyeballs in beads. I got a contract to make the jewelry for a dance troup, plus getting my website populated with stuff...there'll be no peace till it's done.

This is off the subject, but Gina Torres was also in the tv series Firefly and will be in a movie based on it called Serenity this fall.

As for the doll, she is breathtaking and is in a really strong pose.

Wow! She is gorgeous! She reminds me of an X-Men character. Beautiful craftmanship. I love that you used recycled materials.

She's so beautiful! I'm completely floored. Sadly I can only see the last pic, must remember to check back later. Amazing work!
