I think your light-up jar of sparklies is lovely.  I do have some inquiries about the logistics of it. . .

is what you used the little 'fake' tea light candles?  or just an led by itself (and where to get this?)  do you know how long they stay lit?  i'm wondering this in terms of when/how to turn it on.  it would have to be accessible under the sparklies/marbles, without having to dismantle the arrangement at the time of the reception.

I realize you're probably still in the experimenting stage of this, so no worries if you're not sure of answers.  they were just the first things that came to mind when i saw it.
