Can I have the chair if they didn't like it? I'll keep it safe and sound till I have babies and it's gonna be put in my lil princess's room..except she's prolly gonna be an agressive-only-play-with-the-guys-and-beat-them-up-too kind of girl..but I'm still gonna put it in her room..

yea..I know..I'm not making sense..but I had 11 hours of school/work today..lol

point is..I love the chair..and can't wait to hear about what they did!

hilarious! that chair is pretty bad ass actually.

we had neighbors that used to always have parties at the pool late at night (just because it's summer and you're drug dealers doesn't mean some of the rest of us don't have JOBS to wake up for) and play hard core rap really loud, like we could hear it clearly through closed doors on the 3rd floor loud... so we would wait until their prime sleeping time (see: afternoon or most daylight hours) and play all the emo, sappy ballad, men crooning about love songs we had.

therefore in the passive aggressive spirit i say you head out there and join the party. light as much incense or smoke really strong cigars/ cloves as you can stand, play music that is the OPPOSITE of what they listen to- i find classical to be a perfect party mood killer and hang out!

I can't wait for an update on this...as the downstairs neighbours of a couple that paces incessantly over the squeaks in their floor I can appreciate this ever so much!

My husband and I both grew up in the country and then lived in an apartment for three long years after we were married.  I'm still always surprised at how rude some neighbors can be.  I had to do my fair share of thumping the ceiling with a broom to shut them up but you're handling the problem with a lot more class and creativity than I could.  Now our closest "neighbor" is about a 1/4 mile away from us and we couldn't be happier.  Good luck on teaching those guys a lesson!

I got you covered on that one. Our upstairs neighbor has 3 kids she keeps cooped up inside all day. On the weekends they run up and down the hallway above my apartment non-stop from 7:30 am to 10:00 pm. Infuriating, but I can't blame the kids for being stir crazy.

Is it possible to get a kiddie gate or  from  babies r us as well?   Or perhaps speaking with the office and asking what you could to put on your porch as a barrier?  like a cool screen?    maybe  putting a wet paint  sign on the chair as well might keep them off for a while.....

That has to be one of the most hillarious things I've ever seen done to curb nasty neighbors! I personally would start hanging out in front of their place, in the chair and doing my crafts if I were you...

i really like the chair.  Sorry about the bad neighbors. Living in the dorms with 30 other girls and one bathroom gets bad real quick.  i wish i could do something like that...

hope it helps solve the problem

PS: i like the classical music idea

I know that this was a vidictive act, but I think the chair came out awesome and hilarious! I hope they get your point, troublesome neighbors are never fun..
