Y'know how sometimes you go to pick your parcel up at the post office and your heart just sinks.

Coz it came in a box that's at least 4 times the size of the one you sent out?

And then you think "Hang on here... it's cool, it's cool - what you do is 'collapsible' and 'easily squished into small boxes' sort of craft. Maybe the box contains large and unsquishable items"

And then you open it up to discover, that sure there's a few large and unsquishable items, but the rest are all completely and utterly squishable and yet filled up the rest of the box.

I suck.

BUT! ZOMG I LURVE what I've received. Pics to come as soon as I've finished the other stuff I have to do today.

ahh but then you tip over into a little 'thank you' gift for your lovely swap partner - which equals a return gift - and again - and then the swap love goes on forever!

kawaiiholic told me that she received the last of her goodies, so I thought I'd go ahead and post a picture of it since I'm slightly pleased with it!   Grin

I used white ribbon for the apron ties to make it much more girlie, and used red piping on the top of the pocket for fun!

This is the fabric used for the pocket:

I love that apron, and the sign that you made for her too!  Too cute!!

Speaking of the sign...I may have to make one for myself to put in my office with a nerdy/science-y phrase I found this week that I loved.  What can I say, I'm a crafty geek! :-D  8 years of school will do that to you!!

Great job on everything ladies!  I've loved it all!

HOLY CRAP!  My DNA bracelet was selected for Best of Craftster 2008!!  And it took me 21 days to figure it out!

Sad Sad I'm sooooooo sorry that you have to wait Bint. I feel like such a bad person, but it's on my mind everyday and I think I'm doing all I can, I just really hope you like it when you get it all.

3. That cupcake fabric is the best. Like THE best. Amazing! And on the apron! Wow!! So sweet Smiley

I received from Calsters!

Here is a group shot of my goodies!

Apron she made with my name on it.

Little bag she made for Dog Treats.

And these were my favorite. A set of 4 placemats with jean on one side and floral on the other.

Thank you Calsters for the great package!

Here are a few pics of what I sent Calsters. Calsters, if you have better pics, please post them. I could not get the glass wire art flower holder thingy to look very good.

Group shot of what I sent. She likes fiesta ware colors.

Cook Book I made with all of my favorite recipes.

Inside page of Cook Book.

Wire Art Flower Vase with Card / Picture Holders. Looks much better when the light shines thru it and you can see all of the cool beads.

Potholders made with 2 layers of Heat Safe batting.

Coffee / Tea Cup Cozy made out of leftover fabric.

This was such a fun first swap!
