DIY ho, good luck making your tote bag--I hope the instructions and my little drawings are clearand helpful!  I had a great time writing them.  It's kind of tough to find the words for something that I don't really think about much but rather just DO.  It was a good exercise.  Smiley  Best of luck!!

Oh My God! I've been collecting knit/felt food for my nephews and also have been dying for those exact wristwarmers. Are you sure that package didn't have my name on it?

I am so glad you like the wrist warmer 1boy1girl1kitty2. I actually made them a while ago to practice both cables and Dpns, but i then realized i probably would never wear them. I am happy to have found them a lovely home with you.

The pattern i used was free but the link is no longer available. I have seen a similar design on ravelry but i can't find it at the moment.

I'm posting the pics for missmuffcake since her computer access is limited. With that and her recent problems with Paypal, I figured I could help at least a little!

I claimed her for a laundry sack. I decided to embellish! I started with a mesh sack and added a fabric panel that I embroidered with "Laundry." I'm just starting out with embroidery, but it came out pretty well. I also made her a smaller draw-string bag for .... stuff she doesn't want the world to see through the mesh!

Here's the lot:

Close-up of embroidery:

The fabric I used is batik. You can't really tell from the pics.

Threadoryarn rocks my world! Look at these knitting stitch markers! Because I'm knitting addicted, I am really in love with these and even laughed out loud because there's a pink one in that sea of blue!  These things rock!!!

She also sent me the cutest elephant!!!!  I wisted him and I'm so glad she found him and made my wist come true!

Look!  A sideview!  She wrapped everything in soft spinnable fiber -- a start for my learn-to-spin kit!

Thank you Threadoryarn!

Prayers are answered! DesignVigilante sent me a great crocheted prayer shawl with her prayers for my middle schoolers crocheted in!  It's modeled by my rather gorgeous jack russell terrier!

She sent me two skeins of woolease in a beautiful red and green as well!

Thank you, DesignVigilante, for your prayers and crocheting talent!  You rock my world!
