Organizers: TwiztidBlood and AsphaltQueen

*IMPORTANT PM INFO*: When sending PMs, please label them as OWS 32 with one of the following tags:
Package sent
Package received

So when sending the questionnaire, the subject will read OWS 32 Approval. When notifying us about sending and receiving packages, add the corresponding tag. If you just have a general question, label it as that. This will keep things organized for us!
When sending a sent/received PM, please include the 'Send by' date so my craziness will stay at a minimum.

How This Swap Works:
Please READ CAREFULLY! This swap works differently than most!

Try to imagine a chain.  The first link is the first person whose wish list is on page 1 (Person A) - that will be the craftster member who was the very last wish list from Ongoing Wish Swap 30.

Now, we want to put another link in the chain.  People will read that list and see if there is something they want to/can make from the list.

Someone (Person B) will claim Person A for some item on their wish list.  They post a reply to the thread that says I claim Person A for [item].  This is my X claim (however many times they have picked someone for example, "this is my fourth wish, with one sent, and three received, (meaning that this is the fourth claim they've made, one is in transit to it's destination, and three of the items have been received by the people they previously claimed).  Also add your location, and any preferences or aversions I live in Wisconsin USA, I am a vegetarian, and I am allergic to wool.

IT'S REALLY IMPORTANT THAT YOU REPLY WITH YOUR STATUS WHEN YOU CLAIM SOMEONE!  This means you need to post who you are claiming and for what, how many claims you have made, including how many in transit and how many received, and your location/preferences/aversions.

Then comes the fun part!  After the introduction, Person B is the last link in the chain, and they post their wish list!!!  YOU CAN HAVE AS MANY ITEMS ON YOUR WISH LIST AS YOU WANT, HOWEVER YOU MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF SIX.  THE MORE ITEMS YOU LIST, THE BETTER YOUR CHANCES OF BEING CLAIMED QUICKLY.

(Please have your list ready, this swap moves very quickly!  Please include your country at the start of your wish list). Person B will also PM Person A to get her address so they can mail the item when it is finished.

Along comes Person C, who claims Person B for something on their list and the chain is built, link by link.  (If Person C wanted to make Person B a purse AND a stuffie, that would still count as ONE WISH.)  Then they post their list, and so on.

When you want to make a claim, you can ONLY pick from the very last wish list in the chain.  You can't pick anyone else in the chain - you can only connect to the very end of the chain, which is that last wish list posted.

After you have made your claim, you need to PM that person for their address.

Friends of Craftster are allowed 3 wishes at one time, others are allowed 2 wishes.  If this is your first swap, you are only allowed one wish until your craft is received for this month.  Do not choose over your given limit.
If you already have one claim that will be sent out late, please don't claim again until that one is sent out.

Become a Friend of Craftster!  Go here: https://www.craftster.org/subscribe.php

If you are at your limit of wishes, you can choose again once one of your partners receives, NOT when you send.
***Do not claim someone unless you can fulfill that wish to a high caliber***

Let's keep the quality high here. I don't want to receive PMs with people concerned over the lack of quality of their items.  Please, just work your hardest to keep the bar high on the quality of items here!  Don't choose just for the sake of choosing; choose to make someone else a really AWESOME wish!

Now if the thread gets in a rut for a few days/hours, the person who made the last wish should add to their list if they can think of anything else, until someone decides to craft for them. Please make sure this is not you!

Unsure of where to find wish ideas?  Try the previous ongoing wish swap galleries or any other gallery on craftster.  Look through your fellow crafters wist lists.

( the medium can be a couple small items etc as long as it adds up to a medium )
( A medium item equals two hours of crafting time or 20$ worth of store bought items )

Please be communicative if you are having any issues. If you communicate you still need to send your item in a timely manner.  Communication does not mean you can send as late as you want.  After one week past the deadline you will have negative feedback.  This is only temporary as it will be changed back once you fulfill your obligation for late item(s).  Do not choose to craft an item if you do not think you can meet these deadlines.

I will be giving feedback in the following way:
-  great swapper: for those who follow all the rules
-  good/poor communication:  where applicable
-  sent late/early: where applicable
-  no dc number: failed to comply with the rule about using a delivery confirmation number for packages within your own country
- didn't post pictures: failed to post pictures of what they received without an adequate explanation to their partner
- did not follow item amount rule

Previous Swap Rounds:
If you are confused in any way by how this works, please look at some previous rounds:

Hell, I wasn't going to claim straight away but I just got approved and I know I can give Nofury something that will please her  Grin

so here goes, claim 1 of 3
 Shopping bags like these: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=177482.0

Hiya, I'm Karan and I live in the UK. I'm a 40 yr old housewife and mother and it suits me just fine  Grin

I'm a very tactile person; things have to be soft or textured (and still soft!) I'm a night mare when clothes shopping as everything has to have "feel appeal" as well as being the right size/shape/colours  Wink I  like curves not points, waves not spikes, circles not squares - you get the picture?  Grin

I'm a true child of the '70s and love the whole decade from the end of the Flower Power era to the reign of Punk to all the Glam between  Grin I've have been described as " a happy hippy with Goth/punk leanings" and I won't argue with that!

I have a blog page full of swap related info including sizes and colour preferences, but basically if it's PURPLE then its GOOD  Wink My wist can be used for inspiration too, don't think you have to make exact copies of my wistys  Grin

Pre-loved is never unloved in our house, thrifted/regifted/recycled/upcycled/whatever - so long as it is in a clean and sound state we're happy  Grin

now to my list, sorry it's taking ages but my trial of Microsoft Office won't let me cut 'n' paste!!

Knit or crochet 12" squares - to make a blanket for ME. cream/off white/beige/choc brown/duck egg blue or bright blue in Aran/Worsted/Chunky (depends where you live!)

Knit or crochet shawl - purple/blue/charcoal grey/peacock greenyblue (yeh thats a real colour!) Acrylic is fine,in fact it's more than fine so long as it isn't scratchy.

Artwork - not looking for the Mona Lisa here but I know we have some very talented artists on here and I would be proud to hang your work on my boring walls! Brighten up my life (please)

Embroidered tea towels -I've been following the Tea Towel Tour swaps and I'd love something like that to give my kitchen a boost. They don't have to be kitchen themed just no cutesy animals please.

Embroidery organiser https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=168739.0

Knitted socks - not sure if this is too big a wish  Huh  I'm a UK size 7.5/EU 41. use up your oddments on me, they don't even have to match so long as the size is right! I have fat ankles though so we'll need to talk about measurments if you choose this.

Cushion covers approx 16" square, in duck egg blue or bright blue

Photo frames - any wood burning enthusiasts out there?? If not embellishments in any medium are cool anyway. PM for colours/themes

Fleece pj pants for me  Grin any colour or pattern except for geometrics.

A POPPET  Grin pattern designed and distributed by Ghilie (gotta love her!!) https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=205341.0;topicseen

Storage baskets - my whole LIFE needs organising. Shopping bags like these: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=177482.0

Badges/brooches/pins/buttons whatever you call them, I LOVE 'EM  Grin I always wear a brooch on the lapel of my smart coat and badges on my casual jackets and bags.

Soap - proper old fashioned fat and lye soap  Smiley as natural as possible, E.Os rather than fragrance oils please or no fragrance at all. I like oatmeal and coffee for the scrubbyscratchy effect

Crochet or knit cotton washcloths. I'd especially love Zodiac themed ones. I'll try and find a link to the patterns for these. Don't worry I don't want all of them *lol* Virgo for me and Sagit' for my Beloved  would be nice though.http://knitalittle.tripod.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/virgo.pdf
http://knitalittle.tripod.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/sagittarius.pdf  any cotton wash cloths would be appreciated though.

Personalised items: Growing up I NEVER got things with my name on because of the unusual spelling. Painted pottery or glassware would be cool. Anything really though with KARAN on it  Smiley If you can get KARAN KOOKALOO STARR on you'll get bonus points  Wink

Fabric with a celestial theme - at least a FQ

Fabric with a zodiac theme - at least a FQ

Yarn is always appreciated, in particular I'm after yarn I can use with my 4.5mm standard gauge knitting machine  so 4 ply and thinner would be great  Grin No pastel shades please but undyed/cream/white is fine.

Machine knitting patterns/magazines with patterns for single gauge flat bed machine.

Sewing patterns for larger ladies - if you've lost weight and your chubby chick patterns are too big now I'll happily take them off your hands.

I'm never going to turn down sweets or chocolate  Wink

Hi.  I'm addicted2knitting and I live in Michigan (USA). I am a middle school assistant principal and love every minute of it! All I can say most days is WOW!

I claim addicted2knitting for a needlebook, nature themed photography suitable for framing and ATC supplies.

This is my 1st claim (0 sent, 0 received) and I am in the U.S. Here's a mini-bio with more info than you'll ever want.   Wink

I'm 32 and live in the lovely state of Michigan with my wonderful husband and our beagle, Snort. Snort's idea of the good life is eating, sleeping and eating her own poo. She's my fur-baby, and while we don't treat her like a human child, she is a member of our family. I own an asphalt company with my Dad and work about 70-80 hours a week in the summer, so I basically have no life, including crafting, from May through the end of November. However, come December, I get to craft like a crazy woman! My husband works for a minor league baseball team, so luckily our schedules coordinate somewhat and while we rarely see each other in the summer for more than an hour or two at a time, we do get to hang out in the winter. We've been married for a little over a year and are still enjoying each other's company. I'm a flittering crafter, I like to try everything once and the things I really enjoy, I keep up with. My current favorites are knitting (my first adult sweater is on the needles and it's getting really hard to keep going!) and papercrafts, though I'm trying to get back into watercolors and really need to start using my pottery wheel again. Things I'd really like to try at some point are resin, crochet (mainly for amigurumi, but also for things like blankets, 'cause crochet sounds like it's quicker for that), and needle felting. I like sarcastic wit and jokes that make you think, and I seem to be experiencing a renewed love for the '80s. Favorite tv show of all time is The Office and favorite movies are Real Genius (with a very young Val Kilmer) and the original Willy Wonka (c'mon, a movie all about candy!) I love nature and waterfalls are my favorite places to check out. And my favorite food in the whole world is donuts. Best flavor explosion - a fresh, hot, plain cake donut, straight from the oven with a glass of apple cider. Go, Quality Dairy! (Will only make sense to anyone from the greater Lansing area in Michigan.) I dislike mean people, people who are stupid by choice, soy sauce, political campaigns, and having religion preached to me without an invitation.

Please feel free to look over my wists as I like everything on there and wisty surprises are fun, fun, fun!!! Thank you so, so much to anyone who chooses me!

  • knit socks (womens size 9)  (kitty vegas made me my first pair and Im hooked!)
  • your original artwork (I prefer smaller pieces, nothing larger than 8x10 unless you PM me first to make sure I have a place to display it)
  • silkscreened t-shirt with the phrase    neat-o mosquito     (feel free to add a cool image if you have one) womens large, 38-40 bust
  • t-shirt like this one that errka made for me last year that I have worn and washed so much its falling apart!  womens large, 38-40 bust   https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=155224.msg1545936#msg1545936

  • amigurumi or felted beagle (Ill fight ya for this one, Grieney!)
  • amigurumi or felted hippopotamus
  • amigurumi or felted cookie monster (actually, any of the old-school sesame street characters would be great and Ive even got free patterns listed on my wist!)
  • amigurumi or felted pelican
  • hand-carved rubber stamps of your design
  • Placemats (set of 2, 4 or 6), and/or hand towels (sewn would be best, and though Im loving the log cabin look, anything would be sweet!) to co-ordinate with my kitchen colors (sage green and burgundy). If you can have a little loop on the hand towels for hanging, thatd be awesome! I can link you to some pics I posted earlier if you choose me for this.
  • custom tags for my knit items I gift to family and friends (PM me for info)
  • pair of knit half-finger gloves with a fold-over mitten flap
  • Handspun yarn and I'd love to try some art yarn! (please make sure theres enough yardage to do a small project, like a scarflette or something, so probably a minimum of 80 yards?)
  • Pair of Strawberry Shortcake, Super Mario, Smurfs or PacMan long pajama pants (any fabric is fine, PM for measurements but I wear a Nick and Noras size large if that helps)
  • Pair of Strawberry Shortcake, Super Mario, Smurfs, or PacMan pajama shorts (any fabric is fine, PM for measurements but I wear a Nick and Noras size large if that helps)
  • One of those gnome/hobbit mini-doors. Ive got at least one on my wists for reference.
  • Anything on the theme of Happy Homemaker with a twist (tongue-in-cheek kind of things) notepad, pendant, artwork, tote, t-shirt, whatever!
  • A glass/soldered pendant Ive got examples on my wists of some I like, or choose an image you think Id like!
  • An ice cream pint cozy knit, crochet, sewn, whatever! Just something I can put around my ice cream pints so I can pig-out without freezing my fingers off.
  • Pretty ponytail holders. I wear my hair in a ponytail about 90% of the time and Id love some that are a little more dressy than the plain-jane bands I always wear. Ive got a few examples on my wists. (Only request is that theyre the ouchless holders so my hair doesnt get ripped out.)
  • Pelican notecards. Stamped, collaged, drawn, whatever!
  • Anything on my wists Im constantly adding new items!

  • Banana silk yarn, any color (havent tried this before!)
  • Yak yarn, any color (havent tried this before and I know its expensive, so remnants/small amounts are fine!)
  • One of Dulcinea's yarn-gasms (that's what I call it when she destashes her yarn upon someone because I get a warm, tingly feeling whenever I see the explosion of yarn)   Roll Eyes
  • Michael Miller or Amy Butler (or similar style) cotton fabric, at least a yard, please! (Ive got some samples on my wists of what I like)
  • cutesy Japanese cotton fabrics, at least   yard, please! (Ive got some samples on my wists of what I like, but I tend to prefer the neutral backgrounds with little animals)
  • Weird or unique rubber or acrylic stamps. Zetti-type images, dancing animals, basically stuff you cant find at JoAnns (Ive got a few samples on my wists). Used is perfectly fine!
  • How to Do Resin Kit (I know nothing and have nothing)
  • Size 35 knitting needles so I can make this shrug (unless you want to make the shrug for me in a more muted color!)
