hello craftster 'hood ...
i had these shoddy jeans right and i though miniskirts are so hot right now (no, i dont really know that as a fact) and i yelled abra cadabra ala peanut butter sandwhiches and poof ... there was a plain jane skirt which was just begging for me to bring it to life and this is what i came up with ...

cut out some pretty felt (wool is de rigeur) flowers and doodle your heart out with a permenent fabric marker... i used a sewing machine, but a blanket stitch by hand would do

i wear this and people like it, they think i am all crafty, and how can i not be if i am a craftster.org member?

That is quite beautiful.  I absolutely love the combination of the yellow appliques with the black marker detail.

Wow, that is so cool. I usually don't like jean skirts much (I think because I see so many that seem exactly the same), but this on is so cool! Now I want to make something like that. The black and yellow is awesome.

Hehe! The mix of the felt applique with the marker is great. Your doodles are great Smiley They sort of seem like sunny snowflakes to me.

Wow!  What great work.  Kinda Pennsylvania Dutch, kinda Moroccan, kinda super in every way.

The marker detail looks like embroidery and I love it!  I would never would wear a mini since I have large long legs but that would definatly oogle over this if I saw it in a store.
