I hope Heatherjuneyoung doesn't mind if I post pictures.. I'm always anxious to post them once it's been received!

the lining:

The ribbon is a wrap-around closure. There is also a place for her pen. I used drawing paper, hand-bound it and made the cover with cardboard and fabric!

 Cheesy Journals!!! yay!  Cheesy

And a bookmark! (the other side of the bookmark matches the green dotted journal)

The one on top is all handmade and beautiful! I love the texture of the cover and the weight of the back cover and all the paper (it is my favorite of the two) The green one is all kinds of fun cause I love green!

Inside cover of the first one:

She put this awesome paper inside the book mixed with the blank pages, Love it!!!

Inside of green one with matching side of bookmark:

Now I have a writing book and a sketch book! yay! Thanks so much Jennickell!!!! I hope you like yours when it gets to you!  Cheesy

How did you do that beautiful lining Haroldlovesmaude?

Now for the obsessive checking of this thread, I think Sasserdesas should receive today, and I have major swap anxiety  Tongue Roll Eyes

Oddly Enough, I'm curious about what's written on your hand. Are you forgetful or just bored like me?  Roll Eyes

What a great start to our gallery!

I really like the inside lining Haroldlovesmaude.

Are your journals fabric covered Kartiana?  I'm with you, I like the green colors, and  I think it's great you have a book for drawing and a book for thinking  Cheesy

kartiana - i am so happy you like them. The one with the book mark, that is basically just a book cover, so when you fill that one up, just find another journal that size and you can use that cover for it (I found that one at the dollar store, I think it is a pretty standard size you can find just about anywhere).

the lining is, believe it or not, scrapbook paper I found at Michaels that looks like paint!

I had to write an essay so I reminded myself on my hand, haha.
