So I had this wallet that I loved, but it was black leather ... BORING! So I decided to see if I could make one that looked like it, even though I had to take the old one apart ... oh well ... here goes ...
outside

money pocket ...

receipt pocket ...

inside

this is where my driver's license would go

and since I don't carry around a whole lot of credit cards ... just two pockets for 'em ...

Wow, that's great! I agree that the fabric is awesome too.  Where did you get it?

Like everyone else said, the fabric is sooo cute and girly! How hard was it to get all the sizes right (like for debit cards) and stuff?

It actually wasn't too hard. I had to wing it on that part though, turned out better than I expected.

What a great wallet! I especially like the spot for your driver's license. Was that tough? Did you use the clear plastic they sell as tablecovering?
Oh, and like everyone else said, I love that fabric!

Actually, I kinda cheated on that part and just took the one out of the old wallet and sewed the fabric on it!  Cheesy
