OMG! IS THAT A DUCK?

I found this dress at Goodwill and I fell in love with it. It was a size 7 though. And I am defiantly not a size 7. haha!  Cheesy But I bought it anyway, it only cost me 7$ so I was like whoot! I can do something with this. Smiley
Anyway, my gramma helped me a lot because it had been a long time since I had used a sewing machine, but I ripped out the zipper and we were able to find ribbon that matched it perfect and we made it into a corset type style back. So I took it from a size 7 to a 14, I was pretty damn happy. Im sure it can get a little bigger, and smaller of course. I didn't do anything else to the dress, just the back. I wore it to my second prom. Smiley

Sorry for the bad pictures, its hard to take pictures by yourself. Tongue hehe The ribbons are really loose too on my back because I cant tie them by myself very well. hahaha oh well.

Please be nice. Tongue Its the first time I have ever attempted anything like this.

I love it.  I have found many things not my size and I didn't purchase them but your dress has given me new inspiration.  It's very lovely.  Thanks for sharing. Grin

I think it's a great job. You're right, the ribbon matches exactly!
Peace,
