For dress #1 I used a 2 way stretch rayon spandex blend (i think thats what it was) from Joanns.  I bought 2.5 yards and that was enough for me.  I wear a sz.12 in patterns but I cut different sizes on each line...my picture will explain.

1.  sz 16 cutting line
2.  sz 12 cutting line
3.  sz 12 cutting line
4.  sz 16 cutting line
5.  sz 12 cutting line- but I extended the line at the neck so that it was straight across
6.  sz 16 cutting line
7.  sz 16 cutting line
8.  sz 12 cutting line

Then put it all together like the pattern instructions say but make sure you extend the casing for the elastic up across the neck.  The front and back of the bodice dip down quite a bit like so:

The back especially did so I tried it on and cut across the purple line so it fit right.

the sleeves were done by just pulling the sides of the sleeve in and handstitching it into place.
for the skirt I just added a strip of fabric at the top so that it has two casings for elastic.  skirt cut sz 16 cutting line.

hopefully that all makes sense.

Oh I love dress #4. Very cute, and great colors for all of them. I love the muted, earthy colors. All the dresses look very well made.

Sup, dude? Took me like 15 minutes to remember my old passwords so I could actually log in here.

Those are some pretty impressive dresses. Way to craft.
