I made this for a swap, and she has received so I can post now. A character in the show Dead Like Me wore a button necklace in an episode, so this was my tribute. My partners favorite colors were orange, green, earthy tones, so I sifted through buttons of all sizes/shapes to get those colors, and sewed them to wire with clear nylon thread. I loved the final look!

Some of the buttons look more peachy, but the color is more rusty orange.

Fishing line? Ingenious. I like this very much, I haven't seen the show but I am sure this is a fine tribute. Did your partner love it?

Good work Cheesy

Hey Fiber People: I am very interested in personal swaps for painted/dyed roving or top. I can swap supplies or crafted items. Let's talk!

It wasn't exactly fishing line, but nylon thread I bought in the craft dept.... however, now that I think about it, it pretty much is the same thing. Thanks for all the compliments, I really thought it turned out well, I'm making a bracelet for my best friend in the same way.
