How much money should I spend on the package?  I've never done one of these swaps before.

I think it depends on what you are sending, and if you might already have some of the stuff at home in your craft stash or kitchen , like magazines or candy.

I think last time around I probably spent about $20-25 on the contents of the package, and about $25 to ship it. That's just me though, I'm sure she will appreciate whatever you send her!

Just check the prevoius round (https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=163217.0) to see what was send last time. And again: be aware of international shipping costs! It costs me 30 euro's or so to send a package of 5 kilo's to the USA or Australia. And that is without anything in it!!!!!!!!

I have been seriously ill. I will get back to everyone to finish up all swaps and stuff. I am home now.

I'd like to claim Calvero for British stuff

I'm Happychick, and i've been approved, this is my first claim

1) US! Candy (but none with gelatin please), magazines (crafty and otherwise, used is just fine), Sharpies, Freezer paper (I would love you *so* much), fabric, music, anything crafty pretty much (and when I said used is fine, that applies to craft stuff too! Not candy so much... Cheesy). Oh, and tacky souvenirs would be awesome too.

2) Asia: Cute stuff on the whole, fashion magazines, candy, fabric, postcards

3) Specific region of the US: Boston! I'm headed there this summer on a complete whim, I was read 'make way for ducklings' as a child, and when my mum asked where I wanted to go this summer, that was what sprung to mind! So tourist leaflets, tshirts, anything you perceive as Boston-ish pretty much!

4) Canada: Ditto the US pretty much! I loveee maple syrup in candy, so that'd be cool. Not so shot on maple leaves though...

5) Aaand of course, any country would be lovely! You probably gathered that anything I can read, eat or craft with would be greatly appreciated!

Also, weird request, but i'm a huge Amelie fan, so any leftover photobooth photos would rock my socks. A lot!

I am OctopusIncCLothing, my name is Dawn and I am approved!

Well, I think I HAVE to claim HappyChick for Boston stuff... Seeing as how I live in Boston!!!! And for USA candy, and possible magazines.

I am interested in receiving from anywhere, even the USA, as long as you have what I list... Like if you leave near a a place with a Japanese store or something.

Asian stuff --
Kawaii stationery! Notebooks, memos, mini memos, sack of stickers, envelopes, letter lets, deco tape, flake stickers, whatever! My favorite characters are pretty much anything San-X, Cru-X, Doraemon, Etc. Not really interested in Hello Kitty or Sanrio, I can get that at Target

Australian stuff --
TIM TAMS,  other candy

Australian or UK --

My favorite writer is Richard Laymon. He had books released in other countries I can't get in the US. The titles are :

*Dreadful Tales (short story collection)
*Halloween Mouse
*Once Upon A Halloween
*A Good, Secret Place (Limited Ed.)
*The Wilds (Limited Ed. novella)
*A Writer's Tale (Limited Ed. autobiography)
*In Laymon's Terms

Any of those would be much appreciated!

Anywhere --

Craft magazines or fashion magazines NOT from the USA

Coral Reef or Octopus / Squid stuff

Other Stationery that isn't kawaii, especially letter sets

Anything with my name on it in another language ( DAWN )

Panda stuff

Snorkeling related stuff (used is fine!)

Any office supplies not in English (ie post-its, or magnets or push pins)

Kawaii / adorable printed cloth or ribbons (ie cute animals or happy food)

T shirt with something written not in English (juniors XL or ladies Medium)

T shirt for a product not sold in the USA (juniors XL or ladies Medium)

Retro or vintage t shirt (juniors XL or ladies Medium)

I hope that's enough to get picked!

I would like to claim octopusinclothing for Australian stuff! And craft/fashion magazines.

1. Japan: alternative fashion magazines (Kera Maniax, Gothic Lolita Bible, FRUiTS etc), craft magazines, kawaii stuff, candy, interesting fabric, yarn, beads, Harajuku & EGL style accessories, origami paper

2. Rest of Asia: fashion magazines, origami paper, candy, fabric etc

3. USA: KOOL-AID! Harry Potter fabric or other merch, food patterned fabric, bleach pens, candy, peanut butter cups! Craft or fashion magazines. I almost forgot shrinky dinks!

4. UK: Harry Potter stuff, fabric, beads, crafting supplies, candy

5. Europe: Craft or fashion magazines! Craft supplies, fabric, yarn, beads, interesting candy and food

I will claim mixymo for a bunch of her US stuff (kool aid, some Harry Potter... something [hopefully fabric!], maybe some food fabric, some peanut butter cups... and some other goodies too!)

I'm psyche (Jess), and I've been approved (since I AM the organizer...). This is my first official claim.

I'm from Canada, though I live less than an hour from the US border, so a lot of US things I can get easily here! But here's an extremely general list of areas I wouldn't mind receiving from!

1. Europe... I love things in other languages (and I read French and German), either for reading or just to have! I'm also backpacking Western Europe for 2 months in September, so anything that might help me is greatly desired!

2. Asia.. anything that we can't really get here, from stuff in your language, to kawaii things, to traditional things!

3. Mexico (or US near the border?) - yep, I'm a fan of Loteria, Dia de Los Muertos, and general Mexican folk stuff!

4. South America - anything that represents your culture...

5. Ireland - just got my citizenship, and am waiting on my passport! (Any Proud-to-be-Irish stuff or even semi-tacky shamrock stuff would be super fun!)

6. Within US "special areas" - I'd love anything from New Orleans (I always had a dream to live in the city one day), I love the idea of the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, and would like anything truly Texan, since it seems so different from here!

7. Northern Canada (or Alaska maybe too?) - if anyone from the territories joins, I'd love some traditional Inuit and general Northern things, including handicrafts!

8. Any country other than my own... really!

I do actually love learning about any other cultures, I love other languages, and I love food! Ha. (Chocolate, candy... other random things that you are able to ship... all are welcome!). I also collect stamps (the postage ones!), and I'm into fashion magazines, or even better, ALTERNATIVE fashion magazines (but sorry, we have all the American ones here!)...

I am mirchita, and I am approved,  and this is my claim (yuhuuuu)

I will claim psyche for Mexican folk things, I will have a great time looking for your stuff Smiley

I am from Mexico, I sew and love fabric with lovely prints on it, I am into lingerie now, so stretch fabric, and stretch lace will kill me now...  these are my regions:

1. China... kawaii stuff, candies, fabric (fun or interesting printed) traditional things, craft supplies from there. craft magazines

2. Japan and any other Asian places... kawaii stuff, novelties, fun, or interesting or traditional printed fabric, craft suplies or magazines

3. US. craft supplies, fabric, stretch cotton (for lingerie) fancy or vintage fabric or buttons, lace in all colors, STRETCH LACE will be wonderfull!! well what can I say, when I entered to a JOANN place I almost die of an heart attack Wink

4. Amsterdam, adult/ sex stuff, lingerie, sexy toys and that stuff Wink, and anything representative from there ( I feel  Embarrassed) hahaha

5. Europe... belgium chocolates, vintage stuff from france, fabric, craft supplies

6. ANY other country, I will love to know about you and your place

I have two kids, a 7 years old girl, and one 2 yo boy, so traditional toys from anywhere will be aprecciated too
I am also an oldies fan, so anything retro style will be fine

Have I already told you that I AM SO EXCITED!!!??
