So I never know what to do for my parents because they don't want anything... or so they tell me.  So this year for Christmas I decided to try something hand made.  I cross stitched a photo of their wedding.  I used a free program (I forget which). So it's the end of February and I am now done.  A little late for Christmas.  Oh well.

And the orginial...

My first sucessful french knots!

Thanks for looking.
It's heading out in the mail soon.

I found the website: www.pcstitch.com

That is so kitschy I LOVE IT! The 70s photo is the perfect image for that technique. It is just dripping with kitsch it is so great. Plus, you did a good job, but really a great idea.

That is really cool! You'll have to tell us what your parents think of it when they get it.

This is excellent he he, I can tell your parents got married around the same time mine did, the 70s fashions are such a giveaway. It's neat how the pixelated look really works for this image.
