Did you cast on longways and knit it so it got wider with each row? How very strange. I've never seen anything like it. But then, I'm not a very experienced knitter.

Summerfun37- the scarf was not knit the longway. I cast on the number of stitches that the pattern called for. The pattern is why the scarf looks like it grows.

I like the colors of the scarf too. All of the Landscapes have great variation. I felt that I needed a pop of color in winter, especially with a black coat.
