First let us introduce ourselves, as this is officially our first post. We are identical twins who work together, go to school together, and most importantly, craft together Grin.

Our latest adventure is a nursery designed around a most loveable and hugable bear...Winnie.  The room we are working with is going to be a nursery and an office, so we thought the most logical first project should be a screen.  Plus we haven't ever created one before, so the crafting juices were flowing.

Now...two days later here is what we have:

What do you think?

Our next project for the room was a mural.  We thought about painting on the wall, but !sadness! Cry when jr or jrette gets his/her own room and it goes back to being just an office and they have to paint over it, so we opted for removeable wall art.

It's hard to see from the photo, but it is made of fabric that is backed with felt and top stitched for a 3D effect.  The balloons have ribbon tied to them and are taped behind Pooh's and piglet's hands.  We're not sure if we have the ribbon "hanging" correctly.  Pooh is suppose to be dangling from the ribbon and we're just not sure it looks right.  What do you think?

This is my first post too and I am a mom of twins.

Normally I stay far, far, far away from decorating based on licenced characters, but your rendition of pooh and piglet is fantastic - it really is capturing the original story and illustrations.  Most pooh stuff is the disney-fied modern pooh, repeated over and over without any energy to it.  Yours has life and love to it and I would find it enjoyable to be in this character room.  Most of the character based decorations, toys etc just has a lifelessness that makes me shudder.  Yours is the exact opposite and so refreshing.

Thank you so much, you are so sweet.  And aren't twins too cool for words?

We agree with you about the modern Pooh version, and were really excited that our friends like the classic Pooh.

We want to incorporate Christopher Robin and the rest of the gang into to the room, so more projects are on the way.
