Oh man, I think I'm going to have to make something like that to wear to Bonnaroo this year!  It would look sooo awesome...and if I wore it over my bikini bottoms it seems like it would be nice and cool.  As long as it didn't end up being too itchy or anything...

How many strips did you use?  I know the general idea is to knot them around the elastic waistband, but I'm trying to figure out exactly how you did it cuz it looks so great.

what i did is i got a yard of every color
plus i found some white.
cut it maybe into 2 inch strips
tied it on
and then sewed them so they wont move around.

a yard of each color.
red,orange,yellow,green,blue.purple and a bit of white i found arounf the house.

but since i have big hips
im also adding a yard of black to the little empty spaces im seeing.

halter is just plain black.
 really plain not over done
just cut  sew and done.

BUT in the back i cut slits and tied them in bows

but my camera died before i got a picture =[
