My latest crochet pattern, which began as a way of helping a couple women understand the process of lining crochet bags. What it ended up being was a drawstring bag that isn't like any other ... and (imho) is too cute for it Smiley The free pattern is here: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/584151/flowerlined_drawstring_bag_a_crochet.html.

Thank you so much for the beautiful pattern!  This is deffinitely next on my list for myself....and maybe for my mom, too  Grin  I have the cutest fabric for it - https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=225179.msg2436087  It's too thick to keep using for my fold-up bags, but it will be awesome for lining!!

Ok, you seriously just made my day!  Last night, I was thinking that I've been wanting to make a purse really really badly, but I would have no idea how to line it.  It's like you're inside my head!  I was going to start on something else today, but now I'm totally going for the purse!  Thanks so much for the tutorial!!!!!!  Cheesy Grin

Oh, and I love the color combo you used and how the fabric pattern matches the crocheted flowers - that's pretty much awesome.

The screenname says it all - I'm my Granny's Annie!

Thanks for all the great replies - honestly, I use replies to gauge how I'm doing, because there's really no point in my sharing things if they're not liked Smiley

I'm glad the lining bit was helpful to you, GrannysAnnie ... and yay - seriously just thank you everyone Smiley
