I tried a search and didn't find anything. Could be I used the wrong terms, if so, sorry and feel free to point me to the right links.

I've been looking at scrapbooking stuff and noticed that piecing and "tear bears" seem to be pretty popular. It's a little too "cute" for my taste, but know lots of family who would like it.

I'm wondering, how are these things made and with what materials?

This gal on ebay is a good example of the sort of stuff I'm interested in: http://cgi.ebay.com/Nite-B4-X-mas-girl-premade-scrapbook-pages-TPHH-Jenn_W0QQitemZ300211145586QQihZ020QQcategoryZ11792QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I'm wondering how she made stuff like the furniture, trees, etc. The little girl and puppy are really cute. Are these things sold in kits or is it all handmade?

Sorry, I've got a lot of questions!

TIA.

as far as I am aware they are made with mulberry paper then "fluffed" up with a stick with nails on the end,
some vague instructions here:-

these instructions are the best ones though  http://www.craftbits.com/viewProject.do?projectID=1146

very cheap to make, not my taste at all but did you see how much they are going for on ebay? seriously, now THATS a mark up.

Thanks! For some reason I just kept finding people who wanted to sell me ebooks.

Not my taste either, but my MIL would love this. I like the scrapbook stuff I see on here much more. I subtle and subdued.
