i started this cuff long ago, inspired by the knitting chart (and scarf) here on craftster.  gathering up other elements of ocean journeys created the necklace for the set.  i also made earrings, they use the glass and wooden beads that are on the necklace.
both pieces:

the cuff:

cuff close up--the texture is made from working the bracelet off-loom

the necklace:

center close up (the shell turns, this is the inside) a shell from mexico, a nut from a friend, glass, shell, and wooden beads from various stores...

favorite raven bead from washington coast, pearls, and garnet

lastly, the white beads are super special to me--my dad made them from fossilized ivory one at a time and i only have a few left Smiley

i think if i did it again i'd use a loom! i like the texture for this project, but it took forever. i love your avatar spirals420... makes me homesick a bit!
